The Silane Bond Enhancer is a two-component, high-performance system engineered mainly to improve adhesion of resin-based materials to siliceous ceramic substrates. The kit contains 1 x 3ml bottle of Silane, 1 x 3ml Activator, 50 microbrushes (single use), and a brush holder for easy clinical handling. The two-component system activates silane for increased bond strength that will provide long-standing durable adhesion even under the severe demands of restorative procedures. It is especially indicated for the surface treatment of ceramic veneers, posts made from fiber-reinforced composites, and other glass-ceramic materials prior to cementation with resin-based adhesives or luting composites. Because of the brush-on technique employed, it is hygienic and provides a high level of accuracy, thereby minimizing material waste and cross-contamination. Silane Bond Enhancer allows for both surface wettability and compatibility of most dental ceramics and composites so as to better tolerate and retain restorations. Finally, due to being extremely compact, including all single-use accessories, it lends itself nicely to being used in compliance with infection control protocols in any aesthetic or restorative practice.
