Lidocaine Anesthetic is a fast-acting, effective anesthetic for dental procedures. Infiltration: The onset of action is less than two minutes with a duration of action of about 60 minutes. Nerve block: The onset of action is 2 - 4 minutes; it may provide up to 90 minutes of pulpal anesthesia. This anesthetic is designed to give much attention to patient safety. It comes in a no-methylparaben formula to minimize allergic reactions, plus 100% latex-free components that reduce sensitivity. It's terminally sterilized by gamma radiation for safety, and Mylar label protection on its cartridges provides additional resistance to breakage injury. Each cartridge is packed in blister trays to prevent glass-to-glass contact and possible damage.
