SensiTemp Resin

SensiTemp resin temporary cement is an excellent non-eugenol material, having high sealing and retention properties, for only temporary fixation of restorations. Potassium nitrate added to this resin provides soothing of tooth sensitivity along with good retention but is easily removed when desired. It has a two-stage setting, which gives ample working time and quickly sets thereafter for enhanced operational performance and reliability. Its automixing design provides consistent and homogeneous mixing without manual effort. It is available in a cartridge refill of 25 mL and a syringe kit of 5 mL. Mini-mixing tip compatibility facilitates directed application while avoiding wastage. SensiTemp resin may be used for temporization of crowns and bridges and inlays while being a non-irritating alternative without the possible interactions associated with eugenol-containing materials. The smooth flow of the material allows for good seating of restorations while minimizing any potential harm to underlying dentin.
