Kuraray's Panavia V5 Try-In Paste (Opaque) is a high-quality, temporary evaluation material designed to simulate the end result (appearance and fit) of restorations prior to permanent cementation. This opaque try-in paste is supplied in a 1.8 mL tube and can be used for application with ease and control, to assess the restoration, and where light transmission is limited due to materials that are metal or opaque ceramics. The formulation with regards to the appearance will match closely to the final cured Panavia V5 cement to help highlight those restorations needing high opacity for shade assessment. All of this while exhibiting excellent handling characteristics, requiring only water spray to clean off, the try-in paste allows clinicians to assess shade match, fit of the restoration, integrity of the margin, and occlusion which all can be done prior to final bonding. When used in combination with the Panavia V5 system, the paste helps simplify and rationalise the workflow and helps with optimal and predictable clinical results with esthetics and longevity.
