These conventional diamond burs are those with a round end taper tip and with coarse grit to make that preparation as much as possible of a tooth efficient and for aggressive cutting. These are 1.4 mm in diameter and 10 mm in length to allow for deeper penetration, yet still provide good control during crown preparation, core build-ups, and reduction of restorative materials. The round end taper is to finish margins and shape axial walls without over-cutting, so it stands as a very smooth shape for both anterior and posterior work. Made by NeoDiamond with Triton® bonding, these single-use burs keep the grit intact for the entire procedure, enabling it to perform cutting action evenly and precisely. The coarse grit is green color-coded for the clinicians to identify easily depending on the types of burs during exercise.
