The Palmero Lead Neck X-Ray Collar White is a very useful protective accessory, specially designed to protect the thyroid during radiographic imaging procedures and other processes where sensitive body parts are exposed to radiation. The collar is made with 0.5mm lead equivalency for the protection of vulnerable areas from rays of radiation while offering light weight comfort. Measuring approximately 22 5/8" x 4 1/4", this provides an excellent amount of coverage to the neck, ensuring complete protection of the patient. The collar has a Velcro closure, permitting changes for varied sizes of the patient's neck. The vinyl backing will ensure strength and durability for any clinical usage. Collar Designed to be used in conjunction with the Palmero Adult Patient Apron This can provide enhanced overall protection against ionizing radiation on an adult patient undergoing imaging or treatment.
