Multi-Cal Calcium Hydroxide

Multi-Cal is a creamy calcium hydroxide preparation for various clinical applications in endodontic therapy. Indicated for temporary and intermediate root canal treatment, Multi-Cal is used as an intracanal dressing between appointments. This non-surgical approach treats abscessed teeth, root canals that have failed, and other conditions such as abscesses, cysts, periapical lesions, and root fractures. It is also used for vital pulp therapy, which includes direct pulp capping, pulpal curettage, and the formation of dentin bridges. The non-setting formula is easily removable with a file and irrigation.
