The aluminum nosepiece extends beyond typical lengths to ensure a firm and adjustable fit, providing a secure seal around the face and nose. The optically clear, distortion-free, wrap-around face shield is attached and provides extra protection from splashes, debris, and airborne impurities. These will not interfere with or complement the mask's protection.
