The Flight A12 Patient Chair is a hydraulically positioned treatment chair designed to give clinicians broad working access while supporting patient comfort throughout the appointment. Its low 14.8-inch starting height, 33-inch upper seat height, generous backrest travel, and 60-degree total chair rotation make it adaptable to a wide range of operator heights and treatment positions.

A slender backrest and headrest create additional foot and knee clearance near the oral cavity. Dual rotating armrests support easier patient entry and exit, while the chair’s electronic foot control, programmable positioning, last-position function, return function, and safety systems help streamline movement during a busy clinical day.

Flight A12 Chair Features

  • Hydraulic lifting mechanism: Provides smooth vertical positioning across the chair’s full seat-height range.
  • Wide positioning range: Adjusts from a low 14.8-inch seat height up to 33 inches, with backrest travel from -5° to 67°.
  • Dual 180-degree rotating armrests: Improve patient access and allow compatible tray or cuspidor equipment to be positioned for doctor- or assistant-side use.
  • Ambidextrous access: Supports movement and equipment placement on either side of the chair to accommodate different operatory layouts.
  • Slender backrest and headrest: Opens more working space around the head of the chair for improved clinician positioning.
  • Electronic foot control: Provides two programmable positions plus last-position and return functions.
  • Safety shutoff plate: Located beneath the chair to interrupt downward movement if an obstruction is encountered.
  • Emergency-stop response: Any chair switch can cancel automatic chair movement.

Clinical Access and Patient Positioning

The A12 rotates 30 degrees to either side of centerline, giving the treatment team 60 degrees of total swivel range. Combined with the low entry height and dual rotating armrests, this allows the chair to be positioned for patient transfer, doctor-side treatment, assistant access, and room layouts where floor space must be used efficiently.

The backrest moves from a slightly declined -5-degree position to 67 degrees upright. Common treatment positions can be stored through the foot control, while the last-position and return controls reduce repeated manual adjustment between procedures.
