Contact Wedge™ is an elastic wedge that supports cervical adaptation and seal for contact matrices. With even distribution of the placement force and several points of contact with a matrix band, the wedge helps facilitate posterior restorations that conform to the anatomy and curvature of natural teeth. Contact Wedge can be effortlessly placed/removed with Contact Wedge/Ring Pliers and stretched to a very thin profile to provide tight interproximal contact and support for a matrix band.
