These Elevators feature all stainless steel construction for greater durability. The tips are welded to the handle, not press fit. This welding process gives unsurpassed strength at the critical tip handle juncture, providing a stronger, more durable instrument. No chrome finish to wear or flake off, no press fit tip to work loose. Each perfectly forged tip undergoes a heat treatment in a high-tech, computerized vacuum furnace to assure a working end that will be forged to the optimum hardness without the worry of brittleness.
