GBX-2 Universal Safelight Filter is indispensable when both intraoral and extraoral films are being processed in the same dental darkroom. The GBX-2 filter is designed to work with all of the Kodak autoradiography films and may be used with a standard frosted bulb of 15 watts or less. The ruby red filter protects blue and green-sensitive medical and dental X-ray films from exposure during handling in light-safe conditions during the development process. Such a filter can also be applied in a darkroom for manual processing to allow brief handling of up to 2.5 minutes of films under safelight conditions.
